How MyAITwin works.

A personal RAG database that connects to Claude. Long-term memory for everything you choose to store: your knowledge, your skills, your voice, your principles. Claude produces output that sounds like you, not like generic AI.

What MyAITwin does

MyAITwin MCP is a personal RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) database that connects directly to Claude. It gives Claude long-term memory of everything you choose to store: your knowledge, your skills, your voice, your principles. When you ask Claude to help you create something, it searches your twin first. The output sounds like you, not like generic AI.

How it works

MyAITwin uses two layers:

When you search your twin, both layers work together. Keyword and semantic search return results ranked by relevance.

Example prompts

Three working prompts that demonstrate core MyAITwin functionality. Paste any of these into a fresh Claude Desktop conversation with your twin connected.

Example 1. Storing a principle

"Store this as a principle: I always structure presentations from general to specific. Start with the big picture, then drill into the detail. This applies to every presentation I give."

add_knowledge Shows typed storage, automatic tagging, the propose-confirm-store flow.
Example 2. Retrieving knowledge

"What do I have stored about proposal writing? Give me everything relevant."

search_twin Shows semantic retrieval, inline source and date citations, provenance tags.
Example 3. Creating from stored knowledge

"Help me write a LinkedIn post about why professionals should build their own AI knowledge layer. Use whatever I have stored that fits."

search_for_creation Shows dual retrieval, skill application, output that sounds like you.

Troubleshooting

Twin not responding. Start a fresh Claude conversation. The system prompt establishes on session start.

Retrieval returning nothing. Try different search terms. Semantic search works best with natural language queries.

Storage timing out. Large documents (over 100KB) may take 30 to 60 seconds. If it fails, split the document and try again.

Lost your MCP URL. Visit /create and use the Regenerate button. Your old URL will stop working immediately.
